CueAssist - Hardware
Stage Controller One
Stage Controller One connects to the Windows computer running the CueAssist application using USB. It provides wired connection of up to four control points on the stage for the external commands of CueAssist.
The on-stage commands available are:
Trigger - starts the currently selected cue.
Next - moves the selection to the next cue in the CueAssist cue list.
Next & Trigger - moves the selection to the next cue and starts it playing.
Stop - Stops the selected cue playing.
Stop All - Stops all cues from playing.
In addition to the above input controls this controller supports up to four wired release boxes. These outputs are programmed as events that may be associated with cues in the CueAssist cue list. Outputs may be triggered when an audio cue begins or after a user programmable delay.
Wired Release Box Controller
Each output from the Stage Controller requires a Wired Control Unit to be placed at the release box. The unit is self powered with a 12 volt rechargeable battery and is designed to operate an electro-mechanical solenoid for release box door control.
Stage Controller Two connects to the Windows computer running the CueAssist application using USB. It is the wireless base station used to control and monitor remote release boxes and input signals.
A CueAssist system may have only a single wireless base station. However, this single base station controls up to four Wireless Dual Release Box Controllers (eight release boxes).
Wireless Dual Release Box Controller
Each Wireless Remote Unit provides a single output for control of a release box. The remote unit is self powered with a 12 volt rechargeable battery and is designed to operate an electro-mechanical solenoid for release box door control.
